As the Asset Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s fleet, equipment, and material assets to ensure operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of heavy equipment and demolition tools, and the ability to manage procurement, maintenance, and asset utilization effectively. 

 

Key Responsibilities – Scrap Management  

 

  1. 1% of Monthly Revenue coded to jobs with vendors trusted
  2. Create and Maintain relationships with Scrap Vendors
  3. Track and Manage Scrap Receipts and ensure they are coded to the correct projects

 

Key Responsibilities – Asset Management & Utilization  

 

  1. Develop and maintain an inventory tracking system for all company assets, including vehicles, machinery, tools, consumables and materials
  2. Maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
  3. Work closely with project managers to forecast equipment and material needs
  4. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of all assets
  5. Develop and oversee routing and deliveries process

 

Key Responsibilities – Fleet & Equipment Maintenance  

 

  1. Develop & oversee preventative maintenance programs for all company equipment 
  2. Track repair costs, maintenance schedules, and vendor relationships
  3. Implement cost-control measures to extend asset lifespan and reduce expenses
  4. Ensure all equipment complies with OSHA, DOT, and other regulatory requirements
  5. Ensure assets, equipment, trucks are all clean, properly branded, and inventoried weekly
  6. Documents and disseminate equipment and tool damage reports


Key Responsibilities – Procurement & Vendor Management

 

  1. Research and procure new equipment, vehicles, and materials as needed
  2. Negotiate contracts with vendors for consumables, small tools, rental equipment leasing, purchasing, and maintenance services
  3. Establish strong relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and availability
  4. Develop cost-saving strategies for asset acquisition and disposal


Key Responsibilities – Risk Management & Compliance  

 

  1. Maintain insurance and compliance records for all company-owned assets
  2. Manage truck inspections and registrations
  3. Ensure all equipment and vehicles meet safety & regulatory requirements
  4. Work with safety teams to ensure asset-related risks are minimized


Key Responsibilities – Financial Oversight & Reporting

 

  1. Monitor asset-related expenditures and budget performance
  2. Conduct cost-benefit analyses for new asset acquisitions 
  3. Generate reports on asset utilization, depreciation, and cost-effectiveness
