General Role Description 


As the Assistant Project Manager (APM), you will support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing selective demolition projects. The APM ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.


Key Responsibilities – Project Coordination &Execution 

 

  • Assist in planning and scheduling project tasks, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets
  • Support the Project Manager in tracking project progress, identifying issues, and implementing solutions
  • Coordinate with field teams to ensure resources, materials, and equipment are available as needed
  • Help manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards


Key Responsibilities – Documentation & Reporting

 

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFI’s, submittals, change orders, and daily reports
  • Assist in reviewing project plans, contracts, and specifications to identify scope and deliverables 


Key Responsibilities – Safety & Compliance 

 

  • Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with OSHA, company safety policies, and industry regulations
  • Conduct job sits visits to monitor safety conditions and support corrective actions as needed


Key Responsibilities – Communication & Stakeholder Coordination 

 

  • Act as a liaison between project teams, clients, and stakeholders to facilitate effective communications 
  • Attend project meetings, contribute to discussions, and assist in resolving project-related concerns
  • Support client relations by addressing questions and coordinating project logistics
