• Produce and revise 3D technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics using CAD software (SolidWorks).
• Ensure all drawings conform to established CDI company standards.
• Convert field measurements (provided by the Field Measure Tech) and customer specifications into production-ready manufacturing drawings.
• Collaborate with the Production Manager and Sales team to address design-for-manufacturability issues and implement changes.
• Perform dimensional and tolerance checking on drawings to prevent manufacturing errors.
• Support the sales team by providing technical drawings or product visuals for submittals and customer approvals as needed.

Requirements

• Solidworks certification or practical experience using Sheet metal, parts and assemblies
•  CAD Drafting – 2D, Solid modeling, Assembly, Part Drawings, detailing, dimensioning
•  Basic mechanical drafting standards
•  Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel 
•  Strong technical aptitude – Able to read and generate 3D drawings.
• Able to create drawings from sketches and concept discussions.
• Strong written & oral communication skills.
• Able to interface with internal and external customers
• Organized, on target, on time and goal oriented

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Solidworks certification or practical experience using Sheet metal, parts and assemblies
