Residential Admin Asst

Responsibilities

The Residential Rehabilitation Administrative Assistant assists the Residential Rehabilitation Manager administer, direct, and coordinate business activities of the Residential Rehabilitation Program.  Assures compliance of State, CARF and, in California, Cal-OSHA regulations. Work is full-time during the weekdays.  Work is performed inside at the residential site with occasional work at the clinic and/or in the community.  In Bakersfield, the office is located on the second floor of the two-story complex which requires the climbing of one flight of stairs. 

• Develops and manages an efficient petty cash system for outings, groceries, etc.
• Coordinates human resources administration for the residential program. 
• Prepares requests for out of town trips and rents vehicles, etc. as needed.   Requires ability to write, calculate numbers and amounts, read, and understand forms. 
• Prepares requested reports.  Requires ability to write, calculate numbers and amounts, read, and understand data and reports. 
• Supervises receptionist staff. Covers receptionist desk as needed for breaks, absences, etc. 
• Reviews and then approves or denies computerized PTO requests.

Qualifications

Experience and Education

• Educational Background: High school graduation or G.E.D. required.  Must be at least 18 years of age. 
• Work Experience: Knowledge of accounting and personnel principles required.  Experience in which potential administrative and supervisory competence has been demonstrated is preferred. Knowledge of computer, and Microsoft Office including Excel, required.
