Job DetailsJob Location: Irving, TX 75061Position Type: Full TimeTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Category: ConstructionPosition Summary This individual will focus on sourcing, recruiting, and hiring skilled field employees (electricians, apprentices, and other construction professionals). The ideal candidate is fluent in English and Spanish, understands the construction/electrical workforce, and thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Manage full cycle recruiting for field positions including electricians, apprentices, and skilled labor.  Source candidates through job boards, referrals, community outreach, trade schools, and industry networks.  Conduct candidate screenings, schedule interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions with hiring managers.  Build strong relationships with field employees, hiring managers, and key stakeholders to understand staffing needs.  Attend job fairs, community events, and workforce programs to promote career opportunities.  Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future needs.  Partner with HR to support onboarding, new hire orientations, and workforce integration.  Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations during recruitment processes.  Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and provide hiring reports as needed. Performs other duties as needed to support projects, operations, and the department.  QualificationsQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred). 2+ years of recruiting experience, ideally in the construction, electrical, skill trades industry OR if you have hands-on electrical experience who's interested in pivoting to a recruiter role. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and previous ATS experience. Must be bilingual- fluent in English and Spanish (both oral and written).   Skills & Abilities Strong knowledge of field recruiting, sourcing strategies and workforce engagement. Excellent communication and relationship building skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Drive to recruit out in the field promoting CEC as an employer of choice. Work Environment & Physical Demands This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Requires mobility within an office environment. Regularly required to talk and hear.
