Position Summary This position works under minimal supervision of the Director, Service Sales, with the objective of improving CECs market position and overall financial growth and profitability. The focus will target strategic opportunities and partnerships, with Building Owners and End Users, that align with the Company’s services solution profiles and offerings. The position will have a heavy emphasis on attracting new customer into the portfolio and growing new services into the existing customer base and a secondary emphasis on account retention and servicing existing legacy accounts. Key Responsibilities Identify and generate sales opportunities that align with company objectives and capabilities. Utilize Salesforce CRM to track and forecast opportunities and maintain pipelines adequate to meet monthly expectations. Develop and implement strategic sales plan with specific revenue and profit goals that align with departmental strategies. Collaborate with estimating and operations groups on project strategy, pricing, proposal generation and unique benefit offerings. Participate in weekly sales meetings and departmental meetings as needed. Leads the formal proposal generation and presentation meetings as required by clientele. Conduct onsite equipment surveys and information gathering to enable accurate proposals and solutions to be created. Develops strategies for market segments and for individual pursuits, including planning and preparation of sales presentations for existing and prospective customers with the purpose of sustaining and growing market share, and executing in-depth selling in all accounts. Lead the negotiations with the client, ensuring the appropriate resources and reviews are in place, to close the transaction and sign a commercially reasonable contract. Facilitate interactions with other departments to ensure good communication and collaboration. Provide support to other business development team members to address challenges and resolve issues that they may be having with their pursuits. Continually analyze potential opportunities, new solutions, industry trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and communicate information to the team. Performs other duties as needed to support projects, operations, and the department. QualificationsQualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Minimum of 5 years proven successful sales and business development experience focused on end user clients. Skills & Abilities Exhibit excellent communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to understand customer requirements and needs. Understanding of basic business finance principles in order to be able to articulate CEC Solutions impact on the client business Proven ability to act with integrity and to build and maintain positive relationships with clients at multiple levels. Proficient computer aptitude to develop skills in Microsoft Office, estimating software, and Salesforce. Ability to produce and present highly professional proposals and presentations. Strong problem-solving skills. Exhibit basic mechanical systems and application knowledge to be able to identify and understand basic concepts in operation of building systems. Organized with attention to detail and ability to maintain variable workloads to meet CEC business expectations. Work Environment & Physical Demands This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Requires mobility within an office environment. Regularly required to talk and hear. Effectively communicate with others both written and orally, including using the telephone. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The employee may be required to walk; reach with hands and arms; and bend. May be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Possess good hearing, normal or corrected. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee may be required to climb stairs.
