Position Overview

Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services to multiple students throughout the Dallas/Irving area. This is a great opportunity for an SLP looking for flexibility while making a meaningful impact on students communication and educational development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language services to multiple students based on individual needs and service plans.

  • Conduct assessments and support the development of appropriate treatment goals.

  • Provide individualized therapy and interventions targeting communication needs.

  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other members of the educational team.

  • Participate in meetings and contribute to student support planning as needed.

  • Maintain compliance with applicable state and school requirements.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

  • Appropriate Texas SLP licensure/certification.

  • Experience working with children in a school-based setting preferred.

  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work independently while managing services across multiple students.
