We are seeking a Tax Advisory Senior who enjoys helping clients make proactive tax decisions rather than simply preparing returns. This role focuses on tax planning, advisory services, and building strong client relationships while continuing to perform high-quality tax compliance work.

The ideal candidate has solid public accounting experience, enjoys solving complex tax situations, and wants to become a trusted advisor to business owners and real estate investors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review individual, partnership, S-Corp, and corporate tax returns
  • Perform proactive tax planning for business owners and real estate clients
  • Conduct mid-year tax projections and advisory meetings
  • Research complex tax issues and communicate recommendations
  • Respond to IRS notices and support client resolutions
  • Mentor Tax Seniors and junior staff
  • Participate in client strategy meetings
  • Stay current on federal and state tax law changes

Requirements

  • 4-6+ years of public accounting tax experience
  • Strong experience preparing and reviewing business and individual returns
  • Experience with tax planning and advisory engagements
  • Excellent research and communication skills
  • CPA preferred or actively pursuing
  • Strong client relationship skills
