Job DetailsJob Location: FPDS Corporate - Irving, TX 75063Position Type: Full TimeTravel Percentage: Up to 50% Job Shift: AnyVice President of Operations – Multi-Site Dental Operations   Position Summary Five Point Dental Specialists is a physician-led Dental Support Organization (DSO) supporting Oral Surgery, Endodontic, Pediatric Dentistry, and Orthodontic practices across California, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and Illinois. Our physicians lead the clinical vision of each practice, while our support teams provide the leadership, expertise, and resources that support long-term practice success. The VP of Operations partners closely with physicians and Practice Managers to strengthen business performance, develop high-performing teams, and execute strategic initiatives across multiple specialty practices. Through regular travel and on-site engagement, this role leads monthly business reviews, analyzes key performance indicators, develops action plans, and helps practices achieve operational and financial goals. Success in this role is measured by improved practice performance, increased EBITDA, strong physician partnerships, leadership development, and successful execution of organizational initiatives. Key Responsibilities   Business Performance Lead the operational and financial performance of assigned practices. Monitor key performance indicators, including EBITDA, production, collections, provider productivity, labor utilization, overhead, and patient growth. Conduct monthly business reviews with physicians and Practice Managers to evaluate performance, identify opportunities, and implement action plans. Drive accountability for achieving operational and financial goals.   Leadership Coach, mentor, and develop Practice Managers and operational leaders while building a strong leadership pipeline. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Partner with Human Resources on leadership development, performance management, and organizational planning.   Physician Partnership Serve as the primary operational resource and trusted advisor to physicians. Build collaborative relationships that support practice growth, operational efficiency, and an exceptional patient experience. Remove operational barriers and provide strategic guidance to help practices achieve their goals.   Operational Excellence Drive operational improvements that enhance efficiency, consistency, and patient experience. Partner with Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, Revenue Cycle, and other corporate departments to support organizational objectives. Maintain a visible presence within assigned practices through regular travel, coaching, and operational support. Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications   Required Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum of seven (7) years of progressive operations leadership experience. Experience leading multiple healthcare or dental locations. Strong financial and analytical skills with experience managing KPIs, budgets, and business performance. Proven ability to develop leaders, build relationships, and drive measurable results. Ability to travel frequently to supported practice locations.   Preferred Experience supporting Oral Surgery or Pediatric Dental practices. Denticon experience is a plus Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Qualifications
