Your Role:Ā Driving excellence through technicalĀ expertiseĀ and innovationĀ 

Senior Project Management personnelĀ are responsible forĀ the overall safety, direction, completion, and financial outcome of water/ wastewaterĀ construction projects fromĀ initialĀ budget through project closeout.Ā Ā

What You Will Do:Ā 

  • Ensure customer satisfaction byĀ identifyingĀ and exceeding client needs.Ā 

  • Utilize software programs and templates to process,Ā distributeĀ and track all project documentation.Ā 

  • NegotiateĀ subcontractorĀ and materialĀ buyout, develop and negotiate subcontracts.Ā 

  • Plan and schedule projectsĀ 

  • Manage jobs in progress including subcontractor coordination, conflict resolution, documentation, and ensuring quality and safety on every job.Ā 

  • Manage project costs through ongoing evaluation of labor, material and equipment, continue to forecast and analyze construction costs,Ā exposuresĀ and profits through project completionĀ 

  • Perform project closeoutĀ 

  • Capable of managing projects $50 million plus in sizeĀ 

  • Provide leadership through building relationships, motivating others, providing clear direction, and cooperative teamwork.Ā 

  • Communicate effectively; both written and verbalĀ 

  • Provide training and serve as a member to less experienced personnelĀ 

  • Significant experienceĀ as a manager of water wastewater construction activities in the field. MustĀ possessĀ superior construction knowledge, excellent personnel management skills, schedulingĀ expertise, goodĀ knowledgeĀ and use of cost control procedures.Ā 

  • Safety comes first!Ā Ā Required to complete work in a safe,Ā efficientĀ andĀ accurateĀ manner.Ā

Who You Are: A Profile of SuccessĀ 

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, mechanical engineering or other related degree or commiserate experience is highly preferred.

  • Significant experienceĀ as a manager of water wastewater construction activities in the field. MustĀ possessĀ superior construction knowledge, excellent personnel management skills, schedulingĀ expertise, goodĀ knowledgeĀ and use of cost control procedures.Ā 

  • 10+ years of experience in Water / Wastewater constructionĀ 

  • Moderate toĀ high levelĀ ofĀ proficiencyĀ operating Primavera 6 CPM scheduling softwareĀ 

  • Moderate toĀ high levelĀ ofĀ proficiencyĀ operating MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPointĀ 

  • Valid driver license for frequent travelĀ 

  • Be able to communicate in English via verbal and written communicationsĀ 

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Full understanding of Construction Math conceptsĀ 

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometryĀ
