About the Role

As Director, Operational Strategy & Execution supporting the Chief Data Analytics and AI Officer, you will play a pivotal role in driving execution discipline, operational clarity, and strategic alignment across the data analytics and AI service area. Acting as a trusted advisor and force multiplier, you will partner with the senior leader to translate vision and strategy into actionable priorities and operating rhythms, ensuring all leaders, teams, and initiatives remain focused and coordinated. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Strategic Alignment & Execution 

  • Translate vision and long-term organizational goals into clear operating plans, milestones, and priorities. 
  • Rationalize workstreams across data, analytics, and AI initiatives to ensure resource alignment and operational focus. 
  • Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and tracking mechanisms that measure progress, identify risks, and drive data-informed decisions. 
  • Partner with the Chief Data & AI Officer to prepare for executive, board, and external engagements, ensuring clarity, consistency, and strategic alignment. 

Decision Enablement 

  • Develop briefing materials, business insights, and executive-ready summaries that accelerate decision-making. 
  • Facilitate leadership forums, ensuring alignment, follow-through, and resolution of critical issues. 
  • Identify areas for acceleration, improvement, or course correction and proactively bring forward recommendations. 

Culture & Collaboration 

  • Foster a transparent, high-trust, high-performance culture across cross-functional teams. 
  • Lead communication and engagement efforts that strengthen alignment and build clarity around priorities. 
  • Remove barriers to collaboration and help maintain organizational momentum. 

Operational Rigor 

  • Establish, optimize, and run operating cadences such as leadership meetings, business reviews, and governance routines. 
  • Monitor operational KPIs and partner with stakeholders to drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. 

Stakeholder Management 

  • Serve as a central coordination point for the Chief Data Analytics & AI Officer with business leaders, technical teams, and executive sponsors. 
  • Support prioritization of AI, analytics, and data platform initiatives by balancing innovation, delivery, risk, governance, and scalability. 
  • Build trusted relationships with key partners and influence outcomes across complex stakeholder groups. 

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 10+ years of relevant experience. Less years required if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications.

Critical Requirements 

Program Leadership: Proven track record leading large, complex programs within enterprise environments, ideally spanning data, analytics, and AI. 

Strategic Planning: Deep experience translating organizational vision into actionable strategy and operating rhythms, preferably in Fortune 50 or comparable organizations. 

Change Management: Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change, adoption, and transformation initiatives, including communications and stakeholder engagement. 

Collaboration & Influence: Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build trust, resolve friction, and foster collaboration amongst diverse teams and senior leaders. 

Analytical Acumen: Advanced capability in using analytics, dashboards, and KPIs to steer decision-making and measure success. 

Technical Literacy: Understanding of cloud, ERP, data, analytics, and emerging AI technologies, with experience partnering with IT and business stakeholders. 

Execution Discipline: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a history of driving complex initiatives to successful outcomes under tight deadlines. 

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to distill complex topics and drive clarity at the executive level.

  • Experience in Fortune 50 or similarly complex organizations.

Work Environment / Travel / Physical Requirements 

  • Hybrid or in-office presence required 2-3 days in Las Colinas HUB. 
  • Occasional travel may be required for leadership meetings or enterprise events.
