Schedule: Full-Time | In-Person
Start Date: Immediate (Leave Replacement through May)
Classroom Setting: 12:1:1 Therapeutic Support Program
FOX Staffing Network is partnering with a school program in Westchester County, NY seeking a Special Education Teacher certified in ELA (7–9) to support high school students in a 12:1:1 therapeutic classroom environment.
This role focuses on supporting students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of educators and therapists.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student needs
Provide instruction in a 12:1:1 therapeutic support classroom
Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment that promotes student success
Collaborate with speech therapists, behavioral specialists, and related service providers
Implement behavioral strategies that support students’ social-emotional development
Adapt instructional materials for diverse learning styles and abilities
Track student progress and maintain documentation related to IEP goals and behavioral plans

Qualifications
New York State Special Education Certification (7–9) with ELA certification required
3+ years of high school teaching experience preferred
Experience working in therapeutic or behavioral classroom settings preferred
Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
