Join a Surgery team that values collaboration, clear communication, and a patient-first approach to care. As anĀ OR RN, you'll leverage your clinical expertise to safely guide patients through every stage of the surgical experience. This dynamic role includes responsibilities in the Operating Room, Pre-Op, Post-Op, and Interventional Radiology, offering variety and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact throughout the patient journey.

How you'll contribute

An OR RN who excels in this role:

  • Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.

  • Documents patient care given.Ā 

  • Monitors, records, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.Ā 

  • Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.Ā 

  • Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.Ā 

  • Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.Ā 

  • Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s preferred).Ā

Additional requirements include
