The Position

We are looking for a highly organized and dynamic Marketing & Events professional to join the microE team. This role is pivotal in driving our ecosystem visibility and engagement. You will be responsible for executing high-impact events, managing external agencies, and supporting our partner network initiatives.

Own high-profile events from conception through to execution, including event agency procurement, vendor coordination, venue sourcing, on-site delivery, and post-event follow-up.
Work closely with senior internal stakeholders, external partners, and venue operators to ensure a seamless and premium experience for all event attendees.
Play an active role in shaping and nurturing our partner ecosystem by identifying and engaging with a broad range of organizations and specialists across the value chain.
Collaborate with industry bodies and external organizations to co-develop initiatives that expand our reach and enhance community impact.
Support account-level activities and broader team projects, including the development of collaboration frameworks and cross-functional coordination.
Contribute to the coordination of advisory or working groups, including managing meeting logistics, preparing materials, and tracking follow-up actions.
Assist with the creation of marketing collateral, presentations, and communications materials to ensure brand consistency across all external touchpoints.
Balance operational rigour with strategic thinking to support client and partner engagement in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

The Candidate

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of work experience preferably in event management, marketing, or corporate communications. Experience in the innovation/tech sector is a strong advantage.
Higher education or professional qualifications with less experience will also be considered
Proven track record of managing high-profile events with senior executives
Experience in agency procurement, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
Project Management: Exceptional ability to juggle multiple workstreams, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal departments and external guests.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous in managing logistics, AV, run-sheets, and post-event reports.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English / Cantonese / Mandarin; ability to draft professional meeting minutes, agendas, and briefing documents.
Resilience: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where initiatives are demand-driven.
Excellent commnad in written and spoken English and Chinese.
