Local CDL-A Truck Driver - Home Daily Fleet

We are seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers for local grocery delivery routes originating out of our Islandia, NY distribution center. Deliver to stores across the NYC metro area and Long Island, returning home every day. This account offers a consistent, static weekly schedule with early morning start times.

Pay & Benefits

• Daily Guarantee: $300/day flat rate (based on an 8-hour day)
• Overtime: $37.50/hour for all time worked past 8 hours daily
• Average Weekly Earnings: $1,500 – $1,700/week
• Sign-On Bonus: $2,500
• Work Week: Paid 5-day schedule

Schedule & Home Time

• Home Time: Home Daily (All AM shifts)
• Dispatch Times: Early morning starts between 2:00 AM – 4:00 AM (Drivers arrive 30-60 minutes prior to gate/start times)
• Schedule Options: Static weekly routines (Weekend work required; 2 consecutive weekdays off). Drivers select two preferred schedule options during hiring.
• Flexibility: Schedules remain flexible until October 5th.

Job Responsibilities

• Transport grocery products in 48' temperature-controlled (reefer) trailers equipped with liftgates.
• Perform tailgate deliveries: use a manual pallet jack to move freight to the tail of the trailer for store staff to receive.
• Complete routes safely throughout NYC, Long Island, and surrounding local areas.

Requirements

• License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Experience: Minimum of 12 months of verifiable Class A driving experience
• Location: Must live within a 40-minute drive of Islandia, NY
• Ability to operate a manual pallet jack and liftgate (training provided)
