About the Role:
 AJL Plumbing & Heating is hiring a skilled plumber with strong experience in both commercial and residential service and installation. Must be reliable, knowledgeable, and able to work independently. Competitive pay, steady work-year round and use of company vehicle to take home.Â
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in both commercial and residential settings
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues including pipes, fixtures, and water supply systems
- Perform rough-in and finish plumbing on new construction and renovation projects
- Install and service water heaters, boilers, and heating systems
- Ensure all work meets local codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Collaborate with contractors, project managers, and clients to complete jobs on time
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times
Requirements:
- 5+ years in the fieldÂ
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and best practices
- Experience with pipe fitting, soldering, drain cleaning, and fixture installation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must live in Nassau or Suffolk County
- OSHA 30 card
