The Group Sales ManagerĀ is responsible forĀ effectivelyĀ solicitingĀ and becoming familiar with all accounts in his/her market segments. He/she is also responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts/market segments to positivelyĀ impactĀ hotel revenues. The Sales Manager will work inĀ conjunction with the Director of Sales and Marketing to achieve the hotelās revenue and market share goals for the hotel. Develop group strategies that drive performance in assigned markets. Responsible for developingĀ new salesĀ as well as for pursuing the rebooking of past events. Required Qualifications
B.S. degree in Hotel Administration or equivalent experienceĀ required.Ā A minimumĀ forĀ threeĀ toĀ fourĀ years of hospitality, corporate,Ā conferenceĀ or convention sales experience isĀ required. Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Ā Ā
