Overview
The HSHP Dean’s Office Student Assistant will support the Dean’s office and departments of the school of HSHP by managing reception tasks and assisting with a variety administrative tasks. This may include covering the front desk during business hours, answering phones, giving tours to prospective students, and completing projects as needed.

Hours and Pay RateÂ
Hiring multiple students. Shifts are available Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM. $16 per hour.Â
Length of EmploymentÂ
Fall Semester 2026 with the option to extend.Â

Tasks & Work Requirements
- Greet students and visitors and provide excellent customer service.
- Answer the phone, transfer calls, and take/deliver messages.
- Lead weekly prospective HSHP student tours.
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of school and department records.
- Prepare marketing materials.
- Deliver mail and packages.
- Create and/or post social media content for HSHP and various departments in the school.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets.
- Other office/administrative support as needed.
- Work independently on projects.
- Use Canva and Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel (training can be provided)
- Maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be a currently enrolled student at Ithaca College.
- Ability and willingness to be flexible and adaptive.
- Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift 40 pounds comfortably.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook.
- Exposure to Canva and graphic editing is a plus, though not required.
