The TA will attend every class, and will handle these tasks:
- Assist in the creation and duplication of handouts and attendance tasks.
- Collect attendance tasks and track attendance points throughout the semester, providing a spreadsheet of attendance periodically throughout the semester so that I can enter the points into Canvas.
- Interact with students who miss an attendance task for an excused absence, and work with them to make up the attendance task. Monitor and document student attendance and simple extra credit write-ups. Create and launch weekly Kahoot! quizzes. Provide assistance to individual students in the class for specific assignments (e.g., posting pictures and bios on Sakai).
- Collect and score simple extra credit write-ups submitted in class or on Canvas.
- Create and run bi-weekly Quizzizz/Kahoot quizzes.
- Provide assistance and information for students who need help (on their request), especially related to small group PSA projects.
- Meet with some of the small groups to review their PSA projects.
- Assist in class with special activities.
- Other duties as assigned by faculty supervisor.
