Job Summary

The Provider Engagement Specialist will work closely with all providers working at a Centralus Health location, during their onboarding, training and off-boarding phases. Specialist will manage the full provider onboarding experience to ensure a seamless transition for all groups involved.

Job Functions (5-10)

  • Works closely with recruiting and operational leaders to create a smooth transition from the recruitment and contracting phase to the onboarding phase
  • Collaborates with operational leaders, practice managers and support departments (e.g., Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, Facilities) to ensure a successful and timely onboarding experience
  • Work closely with Provider Recruitment to maintain a high-touch experience, building strong relationships for all incoming providers
  • Develops and maintains onboarding timelines, onboarding notes and spreadsheets related to provider onboarding and any provider related efforts
  • Provides direction and necessary updates to internal teams of any potential delays or problems
  • Collaborates with operational leads to develop first-week itinerary for provider
  • Manages provider onsite orientation and necessary training needs
  • Researches issues related to onboarding or workflows and provides feedback/recommendations to management for review
  • Maintain provider rosters and license/documentation information and deadlines for the organization
  • Assist in coordination of provider offboarding process including patient notifications and internal team notifications.
  • Manage department invoice process including reconciliation of any provider-related invoices; collaborate with accounts payable for vendor payments
  • Other responsibilities/special projects as needed

Education / Experience Qualifications

Required:

  • Associate's Degree
  • 2+ years of project management, administrative support experience, or similar

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in Health care
  • Knowledge in JIRA project management system
