Job Summary
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that materials, components, and processes meet establishedÂ
quality standards and specifications. This role involves conducting inspections, documenting findings, andÂ
working closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues. The idealÂ
candidate will have a strong attention to detail, knowledge of inspection methods, and a commitment toÂ
continuous improvement.Â
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in the development and implementation of quality control plans, inspection procedures, andÂ
standard operating procedures.Â
2. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality-related issues.Â
3. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies andÂ
procedures.Â
4. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company quality policies.Â
5. Identify non-conforming materials or products and initiate corrective actions as needed.Â
6. Participate in internal and external audits, as required.Â
7. Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensureÂ
compliance with specifications and standards.Â
8. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.Â
9. Utilize a variety of inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precisionÂ
instruments.Â
Minimum Job Requirements
   Â
1. 2+ years of experience in quality inspection or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing orÂ
construction environment.Â
2. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and engineering drawings.Â
3. Basic computer skills and experience with data entry or quality documentation systems.Â
4. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.Â
5. Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and standards such as ISO 9001, ACI, ASME, orÂ
AWS (as applicable).Â
6. High school diploma or GED required, associate degree or technical certification in a related fieldÂ
preferred.Â
7. Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.Â
8. Strong understanding of measurement and test equipment calibration.Â

1. Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes,Â
gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, hardhat, vest, etc.)Â
2. May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basisÂ
3. May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis.Â
4. May use telephone, computer system, email, or other electronic devices to communicate with internalÂ
and external customers or vendors.Â
5. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures.Â
6. Occasionally will climb stairs, ladders, etc.Â
7. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis.Â
8. Will interact with people frequently during a shift/work day.Â
9. Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50lbs on an occasional basis.Â
10. Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/work day.Â
11. Will work various shifts, including swing, night and weekend.Â
