Job Description

The Mission

Join BAE Systems in managing a high-stakes, geographically distributed network. This isn't a standard admin role; you will orchestrate complex, air-gapped systems where technical precision is critical to national security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize: Configure and sustain high-performance server and desktop environments.
  • Secure: Manage complex server enclaves, vulnerability assessments, and Active Directory.
  • Resolve: Lead deep-dive troubleshooting for critical hardware and software failures.
  • Document: Create the technical blueprints necessary for rapid incident resolution.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience (or Degree + experience).
  • Core Tech: Windows Server 2019, Active Directory, VMWare, and Red Hat.
  • Tooling: Proficiency in SALT, Ansible, Splunk, Puppet, SolarWinds, and Nessus.
  • Security: Strong grasp of advanced security protocols and virtualization.
  • Physical: Ability to lift 50 lbs and support occasional travel.
  • Clearance: Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with appropriate polygraph

MDOPS

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Python/SALT scripting and SQL Server proficiency.
  • Experience with Agile environments.
  • Knowledge of PKI systems (HSMs/NTP) and PowerShell/PowerCLI.
  • Experience with security accreditation and certification.


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
