We have been sourcing premium Asian products since 1981. Only products that have been rigorously tested for quality will make it on our catalog. We are also constantly on the lookout for great new products to show our customers.

Eastland Food is looking for an outgoing individual, a Technical Training and Safety Officer

Technical Training

• Develop and deliver technical training programs, ensuring they are relevant, engaging, and meet industry standards.
• Identify training needs and gaps within the organization.
• Create and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online modules.
• Conduct training sessions, providing instruction and guidance to employees.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.

Safety Management

• Identify, assess, and control workplace hazards and risks.
• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture within the organization

Qualifications

1. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
2. Ability to identify, assess, and control workplace hazards and risks.
3. Proficiency in conducting training sessions and developing training materials.
4. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
6. Experience in safety management and/or training is a plus.
7. Bilingual is preferred (English, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese)
8. BSc/BA in business administration, social studies, or relevant field; further training will be a plus
