In this highly specialized role, you will deliver high-quality echocardiographic imaging that informs complex clinical decisions. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will help drive exceptional patient outcomes while contributing to a program known for innovation, collaboration, and clinical excellence.Ā 

The RoleĀ 

As a Cardiac Sonographer in the Echocardiography Lab, you will operate at the intersection of advanced imaging technology and patient-centered care. This is a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment where precision, collaboration, and adaptability are essential.Ā 

On a typical day, you will:Ā 

  • PerformĀ comprehensive echocardiographic studies, including transthoracic and stress imaging, producing diagnostically accurate resultsĀ 

  • Collaborate closely withĀ cardiologists, fellows, and interdisciplinary care teamsĀ to support clinical decision-makingĀ 

  • EnsureĀ image quality optimization and protocol adherence, maintaining the highest standards of diagnostic excellenceĀ 

  • Interact directly with patients, providingĀ clear communication and compassionate careĀ during proceduresĀ 

  • Contribute to a lab environment that supportsĀ quality assurance, accreditation standards, and continuous improvement initiativesĀ 

  • Engage in aĀ clinical ladder program, supporting your professional growth and advancement within the fieldĀ

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: Graduate of accredited program in appropriate area of specialty as required by position.

Experience: No experience required.

Licensure: American Heart Associate (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required; additional requirements specified by position.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive); Repetitive motion: (computer keyboard). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to cold, dust, noise, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.

The pay range for this role is $36.13 - $51.17 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
