As an RN in our outpatient OB Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic, you will work alongside passionate clinicians dedicated to delivering exceptional care for pregnant patients with varying needs and complexities. This position offers a unique blend of direct patient interaction, care coordination, education, and clinical autonomy in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

The Role

This is an opportunity for an experienced RN to practice at the top of their license while building meaningful relationships with patients throughout their pregnancy journey. You'll be part of a team that cares for patients from early pregnancy through delivery preparation, helping ensure every patient receives consistent, high-quality care across locations.

In a typical day, you will:

  • Room patients and support clinic flow in a busy outpatient Maternal Fetal Medicine setting.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients and families throughout their pregnancy journey.
  • Respond to MyChart messages and help patients navigate questions and concerns.
  • Triage incoming patient calls and coordinate appropriate follow-up care.
  • Conduct new OB intake calls and assist with care planning.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, clinic staff, and inpatient teams to ensure seamless continuity of care.
  • Contribute to a culture of teamwork, problem-solving, and patient-centered excellence.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire.

Experience: 1 year of relevant experience.

Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease

The pay range for this role is $37.51 - $49.82 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
