The RoleĀ
As a Vascular Sonography Technologist, you will perform specialized vascular ultrasound examinations that help physicians diagnose and treat a wide range of vascular diseases and conditions. Working within a fast-paced academic healthcare environment, you will combine technicalĀ expertise, patient-centered care, and critical thinking to deliver high-quality diagnostic studies.Ā
In this role, you will:Ā
Perform non-invasive vascular ultrasound examinationsĀ utilizingĀ advanced imaging technology.Ā
ProduceĀ accurate, high-quality diagnostic studies that supportĀ timelyĀ clinical decision making.Ā
Collaborate closely with vascular surgeons, physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and fellow imaging professionals.Ā
Provide compassionate care and education to patients throughout the imaging process.Ā
Apply sound clinical judgment while evaluating complex vascular findings.Ā
Contribute to a department recognized forĀ excellent patient experience scoresĀ and exceptional teamwork.Ā
Participate in a schedule that is primarilyĀ Monday through Friday, withĀ limited call coverage from 4 PM to 11 PMĀ and rotating holiday and weekend responsibilities.Ā

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Graduate of accredited program in appropriate area of specialty as required by position.
Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: American Heart Associate (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required; additional requirements specified by position.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive); Repetitive motion: (computer keyboard). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to cold, dust, noise, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
The pay range for this role is $36.63 - $51.17 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.Benefits
