Positions will be filled on an as-needed basis according to curriculum needs and appointments are typically for teaching a single course. This is an at-will faculty wage position that does not carry benefits. Opportunities may be available on-grounds at the University of Virginia and online. If no position is currently available, we will retain submitted applications on file for future consideration during the 2025-2026 academic year and summer 2026.
A terminal degree is preferred, but not required, in an appropriate field of study for the course to be taught. Applicants must have a strong commitment to teaching excellence. Previous K-12 or higher education teaching experience in the course content area is strongly preferred.
