Delivery Driver / Inventory & Shipping Specialist

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Delivery Driver / Inventory & Shipping Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering custom-made windows throughout the Northeastern United States while ensuring timely, safe, and accurate deliveries. This position also supports warehouse operations, including inventory handling, shipping, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and maintain an assigned delivery vehicle (GVW under 26,000 lbs.)
  • Complete scheduled delivery routes, including 1–3 day runs
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload products to prevent damage
  • Verify shipment contents against manifests to ensure accuracy
  • Obtain delivery confirmations via signatures or warehouse scanning systems
  • Communicate delays, traffic issues, or delivery concerns to dispatch promptly
  • Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness
  • Assist with basic vehicle maintenance (fueling, monitoring tire pressure, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and track working hours
  • Provide excellent customer service and product support during deliveries
  • Adhere to all company policies, DOT regulations, and traffic laws
  • Prioritize safety at all times

Warehouse & Inventory Responsibilities:

  • Wrap and prepare windows for shipment
  • Inspect products for quality and accuracy
  • Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely
  • Move inventory between buildings as needed
  • Support shipping and receiving operations
  • Operate company vehicles for internal transport between facilities

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required with a clean driving record
  • Experience driving large vans or trucks preferred
  • Ability to safely maneuver and park larger vehicles
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable, disciplined, and resourceful work ethic
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with GPS/navigation systems

Work Environment & Compensation:

  • Position based at a custom wood window manufacturing facility
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (overtime available)
  • Compensation is based on experience
