Stable and growing company in the Oconomowoc area is looking to add an experienced CNC Maintenance Tech to their team.  This is a FIRST SHIFT opportunity, but the company will accommodate later hours for the right candidate.  Great benefits, air conditioned shop, and unlimited voluntary overtime are offered!
  • Performs and records monthly preventative maintenance on all production machines, air cleaner units, or any other mechanical units as necessary.
  • Diagnose, evaluate, repair all unscheduled breakdowns on production machines, test for effectiveness, and verify proper alignment of machine.
  • Recommend OEM service people if situation warrants and aids with repairs.
  • Assists operators with CNC control operations.
  • Verifies legitimacy of all maintenance requests, performs all needed repairs, and completes documentation for maintenance records.
  • Forwards all OEM repair part number requests to Manager for ordering.
  • Assists in rigging, setup and alignment of new machines


Requirements

  • Two year degree plus four years experience, or 10 years of progressive experience in machine repair. 
  • Trained in all aspects of machine repair, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, etc.           
  • Five years of maintenance experience with CNC equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge in CNC controls and operation.
  • General knowledge of all CNC machine parts and there operation.
  • Understands basic principles of ISO 9001 per SP-6.2-01.
  • Trained in ISO System Procedures per SF-6.2-05-02.
  • Ability to diagnose CNC equipment using problem solving techniques.
  • Must document all repairs clearly for future reference.
  • Diagnose effects of CNC operation to determine root causes .
  • Trained in team problem solving techniques
