Job Description:Â
As an HVAC Technician, your primary role will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration systems. You will also support basic industrial electrical repairs such as replacing light fixtures, ballasts, outlets, and switches to ensure proper functionality.
Job Summary & Responsibilities:
Address plumbing issues by repairing leaks, clearing clogged drains, and maintaining fixtures in restrooms and kitchens.Â
• Carry out regular building inspections to identify and resolve potential structural, mechanical, and safety issues.Â
• Respond to and resolve building and machine maintenance repair requests in a timely and efficient manner.Â
• Install, repair, and perform PMs to HVAC systems including air conditioning, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, and refrigeration systems.Â
• Inspect and test HVAC systems and components for any problems.Â
• Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks to ensure system longevity.Â
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in various HVAC systems.
Qualifications & Requirements:Â
• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician.Â
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration and heating.Â
• Working knowledge of boiler systems.Â
• Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.Â
• Basic understanding of industrial electrical and controls.Â
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.Â
• Ability to work in confined spaces.Â
• Valid driver’s license.Â
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Certificate in HVAC, building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus.
