We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our established Daphne office. This office specializes in high-exposure premises and mass torts cases, as well as big truck litigation, and our practice involves extensive discovery, brief and motion writing, report writing, depositions, and court appearances.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage work independently after training.
  • Collaborate with Shareholders to manage a high-exposure practice.
  • Write reports and briefs, take depositions, and handle discovery.
  • Attend court regularly.
  • Engage in trial preparation and trial in state and federal courts.

 

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of civil defense litigation experience strongly preferred.
  • Eager to learn and open to coaching and training.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Detail-oriented and curious, with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

 

Office Culture:

  • Casual office environment with expectations for professional appearance in court.
  • Work full-time in the office initially, with possible hybrid schedule after training.
