Responsibilities

• Perform quality collision repairs on a variety of vehicles
• Straighten and measure vehicle frames
• Weld damaged panels and components as needed
• Repair or replace exterior body panels
• Maintain high standards for workmanship and attention to detail
• Work efficiently while following safety and quality procedures
• 
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of automotive body repair experience
• State of Michigan Body Repair Certification required
• Proficient in body, frame, and mechanical repair
• Experience using frame measuring and straightening equipment
• Strong welding and panel repair/replacement skills
• I-CAR certifications are preferred but not required
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good manual dexterity and ability to perform physical repair work
• Strong communication skills with customers and coworkers, both in person and by phone
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Must successfully complete background and driving record checks
