This position works closely with the Machine Operator to ensure safe, efficient production of corrugated packaging products that meet customer specifications and quality standards. Machine Operation Support Assist the Machine Operator in setting up and operating the Langston machine for production runs. Load corrugated sheets, bundles, and related materials into the machine as required. Monitor machine performance and alert the operator to equipment issues, jams, or quality concerns. Assist with machine adjustments to maintain production efficiency and product quality. Remove finished product from the machine and prepare for downstream processing, stacking, or shipment. Quality Control Inspect products throughout the production run for defects, including: Print quality Slotting and scoring accuracy Die-cut quality Glue application Bundle integrity Perform quality checks using measuring devices and approved inspection procedures. Report nonconforming materials or products to the Machine Operator and Supervisor. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a clean and organized work area. Remove scrap and waste material from production areas. Participate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives. Production and Documentation Assist in achieving production schedules and efficiency targets. Support changeovers and setup activities to minimize downtime. Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Experience in corrugated packaging, converting, or printing operations is a plus. Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read work orders and production specifications. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Basic math and measurement skills. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, and reaching. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to push, pull, and move materials throughout the shift. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and moving machinery. Working Conditions Manufacturing environment with rotating equipment and moving machinery. Requires adherence to all safety standards and procedures.
