Position Summary

As a Junior Appliance Installer, you will assist with the installation, set up, and testing of residential and commercial appliances. Working under the supervision of a Senior/Lead Installer, you will help deliver appliances to customer locations, support the installation process, confirm appliances are functioning properly, and provide a professional customer experience. Experience is preferred but not required, training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with appliance delivery and support the installation, setup, and testing process.
• Help prepare installation areas and protect customer property before moving appliances.
• Safely move, position, and uncrate appliances using proper equipment and handling practices.
• Assist the Senior/Lead Installer with installation tasks and basic troubleshooting.
• Verify appliances are operating correctly after installation.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide excellent service at the job site.
• Maintain a clean work area and assist with removing packaging and debris.
• Follow safety procedures and job site requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

• Prior experience in appliance installation, delivery, construction, or a related field is a plus but not required.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to safely lift and move heavy items using proper equipment/assistance.
• Basic troubleshooting/problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements (if driving is required).

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Work performed in residential and commercial jobsite environments.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
• Regular handling of large/heavy appliances; ability to lift and maneuver appliances up to 100 pounds using proper equipment and/or team lifting as required.
• Schedule may vary based on delivery routes and installation needs.
