Schedule: Full Time Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Allay Hospice is seeking a compassionate, grounded, and spiritually-sensitive Chaplain in Sheboygan, WI. Our Chaplains provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and families during end-of-life care. As a Chaplain You will:  Â
- Conduct and ensure timely spiritual assessments for patients and familiesÂ
- Participate in developing individualized care plans to address spiritual needsÂ
- Provides direct spiritual support to patients, families, and caregiversÂ
- Serves as a liaison to community chaplains and spiritual counselorsÂ
- Maintains accurate documentation of spiritual services and communicationsÂ
- Attends interdisciplinary meetings and contributes to care planningÂ
- Offers education and spiritual care guidance to the care teamÂ
- Recruits and supports community chaplains, spiritual counselors, and volunteersÂ
- Coordinates and leads memorial or funeral services as requestedÂ
- Organizes periodic memorials for staff, volunteers, and community partnersÂ
- Assists in supervising spiritual care volunteersÂ

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited theology or chaplaincy program (BD, MDiv or equivalent theological degree)Â
- Experience working with death and dying, hospice experience preferredÂ
- Comfort in an interfaith settingÂ
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state or organization requirements and is in good working order Â
- Ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs and valuesÂ
- Knowledge of and commitment to hospice philosophy of careÂ
- Ability to work as member of interdisciplinary groupÂ
- Ability to network with community clergy and congregationsÂ
