Agilix Solutions is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Jackson, TN team for the role of Inside Sales. In this full-time role, you'll support customers in both the Jackson, TN and Glen, MS markets while working closely with OEM’s (original equipment manufacturers), institutional businesses, system integrators, electrical contractors, and industrial customers. You will manage order entry, quotations, product support, and customer service related to electrical products, industrial supplies, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) solutions, automation products, and select construction-related products. The successful candidate will be adaptable, eager to learn, and capable of supporting multiple product categories to meet customer needs.
This role will report to the Branch Manager.
Responsibilities
- Support customers in both the Jackson, TN and Glen, MS markets by providing quotations, order entry, technical product support, and exceptional customer service.
- Work with OEM’s (original equipment manufacturers), system integrators, institutional businesses, electrical contractors, and industrial customers to drive sales growth within the assigned market.
- Assist customers with electrical products, industrial supplies, MRO solutions, automation products, and construction-related products as needed.
- Develop and maintain working knowledge across multiple product categories while continuing to expand expertise in electrical, industrial, MRO, and automation solutions.
- Daily inbound calls and emails from customers in a fast-paced, customer driven environment.
- Follow-up on customer orders and quotes after the sale to ensure they are completed accurately and on time.
- Enter quotes and sales orders with accuracy and efficiency.
- Communicate with Outside Sales to identify and target customer needs, issues that need to be addressed, and provide solutions for customers.Â
- Communicate with Warehouse Team to fulfill customer needs on orders and deliveries.
- Ability and desire to promote and profitably sell products and services within the industrial, electrical, MRO, automation, and construction markets.
- Assist other departments such as the sales counter and warehouse on an as need basis to ensure appropriate customer service is maintained.

Qualifications
- Preferred: Inside sales experience in electrical distribution, industrial distribution, MRO, automation, construction supply, or related industries.
- Knowledge of electrical products, industrial supplies, and MRO solutions preferred.
- Demonstrated strength in one or more of the following areas: electrical products, industrial products, MRO solutions, automation, or construction products.
- Working knowledge of additional product lines with a willingness and ability to learn new products and technologies.
- Quick response time and strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills are a must.
- Ability to promote products to meet and upsell customer needs.
- Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to execute company strategies aimed at reaching new and existing customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
- Ability to source products in vendor portals like Rockwell Automation, Mersen and Hoffman.
- A strong desire to learn and gain an edge in the electrical, industrial, MRO, automation, and construction industries while expanding product and solution knowledge.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Â
- Must be able to lift up to 5-10 pounds at times.Â
