What we are looking for:
- Experienced pipefitters and journeymen with strong field skills and a solid work history.
- Candidates who have never previously been a member of a union.
- Willing to join our local union as a condition of employment.
- Willing and able to relocate to the Kansas City, MO area.
- Read and interpret drawings, isometrics, and mechanical schematics to guide installation work.
- Select, assemble, and install piping systems and related materials per specifications.
- Cut and connect pipe using hand tools, power tools, and methods such as welding, soldering, brazing, and threading.
- Install and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, including pumps, compressors, and controls.
- Test piping systems for leaks by pressurizing lines and monitoring gauges.
