Job Description:

The Assembler is responsible for assembling cabinet components and products according to established quality, safety, and production standards. This role works in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to ensure finished products meet customer specifications and company expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assemble cabinet components, doors, drawers, and related products according to work instructions and specifications.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Follow production schedules and meet daily performance goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions, quality issues, and safety concerns.
  • Read and interpret production orders, labels, and assembly instructions.
  • Assist with packaging, material handling, and other production-related tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or assembly experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to dust.
