Job Responsibilities
•   Serves as a clinical resource, mentor, and role model to APP colleagues.
•   Develops a plan of care within scope of practice utilizing written protocols to ensure quality patient care.
•   Uses prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, treatments, and theories in accordance with state/federal laws and regulations.
•   Interacts with and contributes to the professional development of peers and colleagues.
•   Provides clinical leadership.
•   Supports life long learning.
•   Completes assigned goals.
•   Responsible for generating and communicating on-call schedule.
•   Participates in project initiatives and regular meetings related to area of practice.
•   Serves as a liaison between physicians, staff, and administration.
Experience
- Minimum Required  Â
2 years clinical experience functioning in the Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner First Assist role.
Education
   Minimum Required       Â
A graduate of an accredited physician assistant training program and has successfully completed the examination of the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants or a graduate of an accredited nurse practitioner program.  Â
Special Skills  Â
Computer literate.
Licensure
 Minimum RequiredÂ
Current license by the state they practice. Eligible for or have certificate of fitness/prescription privileges.
-BLS within 14 days of hire.
