Methodist Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Rehab Technician to join our Brain Injury Unit. In this role, you will work closely with nurses and therapists to provide hands-on patient care while helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals in a supportive, team-oriented environment. If you enjoy working directly with patients and are passionate about helping others regain independence, we'd love to hear from you. Schedule Full-Time 40 hours per week Every other weekend required What You'll Do Ensure patients arrive at therapy appointments safely and on time. Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing Toileting Eating Dressing and other personal care needs Obtain and accurately document vital signs. Safely transport patients to and from therapy sessions and other areas as needed. Assist licensed nurses with delegated nursing procedures and functional rehabilitation activities within the scope of your training. Support rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff in providing exceptional patient-centered care. Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the rehabilitation team and patients. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience Minimum of one year of direct, hands-on patient care experience is required. Previous experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Nursing Assistant, Rehab Technician, or Therapy Technician is preferred. Training Successful completion of Methodist Rehabilitation's orientation and advanced Rehab Technician/Nursing Assistant training program is required after hire.
