Therapy Tech - Full time - Inpatient Therapy (662)

• Performs patient care tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist
• Assist Therapist as instructed with patient mobility activities and departmental support tasks
  • patient mobility activities include but are not limited to: assisting with gait training, assisting with transfers, assisting with ADLs, assisting with exercises, etc.
  • departmental support tasks include but are not limited to: patient transport, equipment pick-up and delivery, equipment set-up and take-down, wheelchair maintenance, infection control, maintenance of compliance logs, equipment organization, routine cleaning tasks, etc.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and excellent customer service skills in order to effectively support the programs and services of MRC

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: One year experience as a Therapy Technician in a related health care environment is preferred or experience as a nursing aid or tech will be considered
