Job DetailsJob Location: Jackson, WI 53037Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $26.00 - $30.00 HourlyTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayPosition Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL-A Driver to join our team. This role involves operating both semi and straight trucks for local deliveries. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable interacting with customers while representing the company in a professional manner. This position typically works Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with overtime and schedule flexibility required, including occasional driving at nights. Key Responsibilities Operate both semi-trucks (50–75% of the time) and straight trucks for local deliveries Transition from primarily semi-truck driving into ownership of a dedicated straight truck route Safely operate equipment in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies Perform pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections Load and unload freight using a hand truck and/or pallet jack as needed Accurately complete delivery documentation, logs, and electronic records Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding schedules, delays, and issues Maintain cleanliness and perform basic upkeep of assigned vehicles Follow all federal, state, and local transportation laws Perform other duties as assigned QualificationsQualifications & Requirements Valid CDL Class A license Clean driving record and ability to meet all DOT requirements Experience operating both semi-trucks and straight trucks Ability to safely use material handling equipment (hand truck, pallet jack) Strong time management and customer service skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Basic computer and electronic logging skills To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and safely.  The requirements and qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
