Job DetailsJob Location: Primary San Pablo - Jax, FL 32250Position Type: Full TimeMedical Assistant Coastal Health Primary Care – Jacksonville Beach, FL Coastal Health is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing Primary Care team at our Jacksonville Beach location. We are looking for a team member who is passionate about patient care, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and takes pride in helping patients achieve their health goals. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our providers and ensuring patients receive exceptional care from check-in to check-out. Responsibilities Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Assist providers during patient visits and minor procedures Administer injections, vaccines, and other treatments as directed Perform EKGs, specimen collection, and other clinical duties as needed Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) Process prescription refill requests and prior authorizations Coordinate referrals, laboratory testing, and follow-up care Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent preferred Previous experience in a primary care or outpatient medical office preferred Knowledge of EMR systems and medical terminology Strong clinical and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Paid time off and holiday pay Health, dental, and vision benefits (if applicable) Supportive team-oriented work environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Beautiful Jacksonville Beach location At Coastal Health, we are committed to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to our community.
