Bowden Eye & Associates, an affiliate of Eye Health America, is a growing, multi-specialty ophthalmology practice. We are always seeking great people who aren't just searching for a job but looking to make a difference.

Hours vary depending on the doctor’s schedules. *Overtime may be required. Must be willing to travel to our different clinic locations if needed.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check-in patients in an orderly and professional manner.
  • Scan patients’ insurance cards and driver’s licenses.
  • Document all patient demographic information.
  • Collect proper authorizations and/or referrals from patients.
  • Handle patient check-out processes, including processing charges, collecting fees, and scheduling next appointments.
  • Monitor past-due accounts and collect payments.
  • Maintain and balance a personal cash drawer daily.
  • Evaluate chart data for completeness and accuracy.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid and active Driver’s License.
  • Previous experience in eye care, or the medical environment is a plus.
