The Connected Customer Supervisor is a Floor & Decor supervisor responsible for managing a dynamic team of customer service associates. This role will oversee the processes relating to cashiering, returns, cash office functions, inventory management, e-commerce support, in addition to providing customers with an exceptional shopping experience. Successful connected customer supervisors are team builders, customer service champions, detail oriented and highly organized, with excellent communication and listening skills. Minimum eligibility requirements include at least 1 year of customer service/cashier supervisory experience or 4 years of customer service experience, a high school diploma and/or GED, and a minimum of 2 years of computer experience in a work environment. Essential job functions include directing all Customer Service Associates and Connected Customer Specialists related to the front end and inventory accuracy in the store, demonstrating thorough understanding and compliance of all customer service-related standard operating procedures, leading inventory management and accuracy, processing customer refunds and exchanges, overseeing signage updates and price changes, assisting customers with product selection, partnering with management on product SKUs and returns, researching inventory discrepancies, reviewing shipping and receiving documents, auditing reports, monitoring truck logs, auditing customer merchandise storage, creating and maintaining store signage and pricing, returning products to correct locations, cleaning and stocking products, serving as point of contact for e-commerce team members, supervising inventory movement, and being available to open and/or close the store. The position involves working in a warehouse environment with exposure to moving vehicles and requires physical ability to lift 25 pounds or more and to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for long periods.
