About Thrive Hive ABA
Thrive Hive ABA is a small, growing ABA company serving children and families throughout Eastern North Carolina. We are intentionally building something different from the large corporate ABA model.
We believe clinicians should feel valued, supported, and heard. Our employees, clients, and families come before numbers and profit. We want our BCBAs to have the flexibility, clinical autonomy, and support needed to provide excellent care.
Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time BCBA to serve clients in Jacksonville and surrounding areas.
This is a hybrid position with flexibility to complete appropriate responsibilities remotely while providing required in-person supervision, assessments, caregiver training, and clinical services in homes, schools, and community settings.
Our BCBAs oversee their clinical caseloads, supervise and mentor RBTs, conduct assessments and reassessments, develop individualized treatment plans, provide caregiver training, and collaborate with families and other members of the client's care team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments, reassessments, and ongoing clinical evaluations.
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Analyze client data and make clinically appropriate treatment modifications.
- Provide parent and caregiver training.
- Supervise, mentor, and provide clinical feedback to RBTs.
- Monitor treatment fidelity and client progress.
- Coordinate with families, schools, and other providers when appropriate.
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and on time.
- Maintain compliance with BACB, payer, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in clinical meetings and collaborative case reviews.
Qualifications
Required
- Current BCBA certification in good standing.
- Current active North Carolina Behavior Analyst license.
- Master's degree or higher.
- ABA service experience.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to provide services throughout the assigned area.
Preferred
- RBT supervision and mentorship experience.
- Assessment and treatment-plan development experience.
- Experience with BIPs and challenging behavior.
- Parent/caregiver training experience.
- Home, school, or community-based ABA experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- $90,000–$115,000 annual salary
- Performance bonus opportunities
- Hybrid work flexibility
- Flexible scheduling
- Paid time off and paid holidays
- Professional development and training support
- Direct access to company leadership
- Opportunity to have a voice as the company grows
Working Conditions
This is not a fully remote position. Regular in-person services are required based on client needs and payer requirements. Services may occur in homes, schools, and community settings throughout the Jacksonville area.
Why Thrive Hive ABA?
We're growing, but we don't want to become a company where clinicians become numbers. We want a team where BCBAs have a voice, RBTs receive meaningful support, and families receive the attention they deserve.
If you're looking for clinical autonomy, accessible leadership, and an opportunity to help shape a growing ABA company, we'd like to hear from you.
This keeps the people-over-profit message, $90K–$115K range, hybrid arrangement, active NC license requirement, and the small-company advantage while stripping out most of the repetition.
Flexible work from home options available.
