Job Title: Campus Minister, Disciple Groups

Objective
The objective of the Campus Minister, Disciple Groups is to co-labor with the campus pastors, Discipleship Director and campus team in shepherding, equipping and mobilizing the saints of the San Pablo campus by creating environments for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ, specifically in the form of multiplying healthy disciple groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ through the ongoing spiritual disciplines of Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, fasting, confession and fellowship
- Build and lead a serve staff team to execute group launch seasons three times a year, including new leader recruitment and trainings, coach and leader gatherings and group sign-up weekends (oversee all related logistics, including facilitators, food, facilities, promotion, follow-up and Rock management)
- Build and lead serve staff teams to execute Discover Group events multiple times each year (oversee all related logistics, including facilitators, food, facilities, promotion, follow-up and Rock management)
- Lead and develop a serve staff team of disciple group leaders and coaches
- Track and build healthy strategies and metrics in the Rock to increase follow-up and to further multiply disciple groups at the San Pablo campus
- Coordinate and develop on-campus groups
- Build and coordinate teams for Monday night groups (childcare, welcome, Nehemiah and group leaders)
- Manage logistics including room reservations, safety and security practices by leaders and partnering with childcare as needed
- Disciple and coach on-campus group leaders
- Track and follow up on group health metrics weekly (attendance, pending, etc.)
- Collaborate with San Pablo Discipleship Director to effectively disciple and coach San Pablo off-site groups
- Build a team of connectors and coaches to aid disciple group leaders
- Provide ministerial leadership and direction to groups as assigned
- Encourage, equip and care for these leaders, connectors and coaches
- Lead weekly worship services to connect people and assist wherever needed
- Teach Baptism and Discover Eleven22 classes
- Support execution of communion, baptism and other service elements as requested
- Partner with Campus Pastor and team to shepherd the San Pablo campus
- Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
- Three to five years of ministry leadership experience including experience managing teams, volunteers and/or ministry areas
- Bachelor's degree required
Expected Hours of Work
Work Hours Expectations: 40 hours or more.
Schedule Expectations: Sunday through Thursday (hours may vary based on the church's needs, including working full weekends).
The church has several big events (“All-Skates”) throughout the year to help further the mission of Eleven22. These events are mandatory for all staff to be in attendance and may vary, depending on the vision cast for the current year.

Work Environment/Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment and in and out of congregants' homes. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers, standing for extended periods of time, lifting up to 25 lbs. and some activity is required surrounding event set up and execution.
Ministerial Exception
The ministerial exception furthers the purposes of the Free Exercise and Establishment Clauses of the First Amendment by barring legal claims against church bodies by staff members who perform religious functions. All church pastors are subject to the exception, but a formal ministerial credential is not required. While there is no rigid formula to determine other church staff members that qualify, various factors are considered to determine which staff members are subject to the ministerial exception (please see handbook).
