Position Summary

The Lube Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of lubricants and related products to customers throughout assigned routes. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate company delivery vehicles in compliance with all U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies
  • Load, transport, and deliver lubricants, oils, and related products to customer locations
  • Verify delivery accuracy, including product type, quantity, and documentation
  • Complete delivery tickets, invoices, and required logs accurately and timely
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and equipment
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of petroleum products
  • Assist with warehouse duties as needed, including loading/unloading inventory

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license (CDL Required)
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to meet DOT medical certification requirements
  • Previous delivery or commercial driving experience preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver products (up to 50–75 lbs regularly)
  • Basic math and documentation skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Frequent lifting, bending, and climbing
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
  • Handling petroleum-based products with appropriate safety precautions
  • Extended periods of driving and sitting

Additional Requirements (Florida-Specific)

  • Compliance with all Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and state regulations
  • Knowledge of local routes and geography preferred
