Centralized Referral Coordinator | Full-Time | Corporate | 484 Riverside Ave, Riverside, FL 32202

H2 Health is seeking a Centralized Referral Coordinator to join our Corporate team supporting outpatient clinics across the organization. If you enjoy healthcare administration, insurance verification, patient coordination, and working in a collaborative environment, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the patient experience while supporting clinic operations.

In this role, you will serve as an important connection between patients, clinics, and insurance providers. Your work will help ensure patients receive timely access to care by verifying benefits, obtaining authorizations, and coordinating referral-related activities before services are rendered.

Your Role

  • Complete accurate insurance benefit verifications for new patient referrals.
  • Obtain necessary authorizations, referrals, and pre-certifications before treatment begins.
  • Utilize online payer portals and web-based verification systems to confirm eligibility and coverage.
  • Communicate authorization status updates to assigned outpatient clinics.
  • Monitor work queues and maintain productivity and timeliness standards.
  • Respond to clinic inquiries regarding referrals, insurance requirements, and care coordination needs.
  • Identify insurance trends or potential issues and communicate findings to leadership.
  • Create and schedule new patient accounts for patients entering the central verification process.
  • Assist with inbound and outbound customer service calls related to referrals and scheduling.
  • Support departmental initiatives and special projects that contribute to organizational growth.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Two years of medical office experience preferred, but not required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, insurance verification tools, and general office technology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
