As a Centrifuge Operator, you鈥檒l play a key role in industrial dewatering and processing operations, helping our clients keep their projects running smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You鈥檒l work on project-based assignments across the North, Southeast, and Midwest regions, giving you the chance to tackle diverse challenges and expand your expertise.聽

What will be my responsibilities?
路 As part of our HIS team, you will be assigned to our client site and assist with industrial and dewatering/sludge removal.
路 Receive work direction from the on-site supervisor or PM, follow instructions carefully, maintain open and effective communication to ensure smooth and efficient operations, and proactively handle any challenges.
路 Monitor and operate maximum centrifuge feed capacities, including conditioning centrifuge feed stock through polymer injection and the use of various chemical additives.
路 Operate special equipment, such as positive displacement pumps and polymer blending systems.
路 Perform routine maintenance on equipment used for each project to ensure optimal performance and safety.
路 Operate light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, pressure washers and mechanical tools.
路 Learn, understand, and comply with all safety work practices, policies, and procedures always.
路 Accurately maintain and promptly process expenses and timesheets.
路 Consistently represent Handex in a professional manner while assigned to projects, collaborating effectively with teammates, and maintaining respectful and positive working relationships with the team.
Requirements
Skills needed for success:
路 High school diploma/GED.
路 2+ years of centrifuge operating experience along with intricate knowledge of 2 phase and 3 phase decanter centrifuge operations.
路 Willingness to travel and work effectively at remote project sites, including 12-hour shifts along with flexible rotational schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtime.聽
路 Military industrial/mechanical experience a plus.
路 Excellent team players with good communication skills, reliability, and a positive, can-do attitude.
路 Comfortable being in an industrial/refinery setting both indoors and outside as well as confined spaces and able to lift 50 lbs.
路 TWIC card and 40 Hour OSHA is a plus.
路 Must have a reliable vehicle and a drivers license in good standing. Real ID or a vaild passport too.
路 Must pass pre-employment background checks which include physical/drug/alcohol/MVR/criminal.
Salary Range:
$25.00 to $35.00/HR plus OT
Salary based on experience.
